To love is to return to a home we've never left; to remember who we are. In my standard "about me" section, I typically say something snarky like "I exist for the sole purpose of fulfilling genetic imperatives." However, being that it seems as though this is meant to be a more thoughtful post, I should probably post something that actually resonates with What "I" Am.

However... (Existentialist Deconstruction Alert! Grab the emergency super soaker!) When faced with such a prompt, I find myself at a loss for words. I suppose I'm... complicated (read: human). Who I am or, rather, what I will be to you all depends on your individual perspective. While I enjoy introspection and discussions of the self, it's probably best for you to figure "me" out for yourself without any predicated veneer I might glaze onto these web pages in order to hit a few buzz words of common ground.

If that all sounds like Japanese to you, then...

I'm a spunky little lady with an interest in Art, Neuro-Science and Buddhism. I enjoy long walks, interesting conversations and freshly-brewed tea. I learn more about myself and the world each day, and strive to appreciate the beauty of each moment, every fiber in the fabric of our experience. Admittedly, I fail incessantly; snarling at the sight of d--- Cheney and crying over the concept of war and needless suffering. I shake my fist on a fairly regularly basis while quietly clinging to my ideals and attempting to have a positive impact on the world wherever possible.

I'm verbose with a stockpile of bizarre and esoteric interests. I loathe pop music and glitter. I don't go out drinking (unlike 97% of people my age), as I'd much rather spend quality time with a few close friends, talking, watching films and going on ridiculous adventures.
