My Grandma thinks a girl like me should no have problem finding nice guys.
Bless her, but she was wrong. Well, not so much that I'm not finding nice guys but that I'm not finding that guy with whom I share that intangible something that would make all those sacrifices one makes for relationships seem worthwhile. Someone with whom once the initial rush has worn off I can see myself wanting to be with years down the line. Someone to make me laugh and to inspire me to not give up when I think the worlds on my shoulders and to whom I can return the favour. SA guy who appreciates the importance of physical chemistry but knows that a connection based only on that is fleeting and that there should more. Am I asking too much? I've certainly been told so but I've also been lucky enough to experience so much in my life that I am comfortable being on my own, something I prefer to settling for the wrong person. So here I am giving this a go, because though part of me wants to give up a part thinks he is out there somewhere.
