Lets get right to it. I have been living in a mens shelter since August of 09. Up until then i drank alcohol, reflected way to much on the past, made to many predictions about the future and was just an overall mess. I was raised in a home of compassion and confusion. My Mother ( Angel) & my father ( drunk). God has Blessed me with 3 beautiful children whom i raised single with the help and hinderince of my parents. May God rest their souls. My kids are my reflection , and mean the world to me. I have always been drawn to Buddha as far back in my life as i can remember,mainly the feeling i would get watching and listening to the TV,my escape route from the pain. But there was never enough of it made available to me. What makes me smile even though i now reside in a shelter is that my family owned and operated a personal care home for men and women for over 40 years. I was 9 years old taking care of people 5-8 times my age. What a curse i thought it was, but now know that it was one of the greatest blessings i have received. What i used to do for people physically with way to much effort, i now do for my beloved ones emotionally through the many Buddha's and their stories. My children are very proud to have their true dad back in their lives. They sometimes make fun of the Buddha figure i have on the dash board of our 1996 black Buick Riveria. I rub it whenever i need to and share with them whatever i can. They try to resist, but because i wait for it, they follow. I love reading , writing songs,poems,screenplays, childrens books. I enjoy the typical manly ways of life,so what, i'm a Man. My 18yr daughter is a freshman at Penn State, main campus,My 19yr son works at a food market while living with my 37yr son who has given me 3 grandbaby girls, 1 8yrs & twins 6 yrs to keep me young. Looking to connect with a great woman who has a great life, no matter what. Also meet great friends to practice with. I am houseless, not homeless!
