I am slowly walking the path to enlightenment and finding joy in the journey itself. This week, I had the opportunity to visit the monks walking for peace from Texas to Washington, D. C., and the experience was deeply fulfilling and serene. I try to sit Zazen each day, every session leaves me feeling refreshed and grounded. Though I am still a beginner and continue to learn, I feel a deeper connection to Buddhism than any other religion or spiritual practice.
