Compassion My interest in Buddhism developed as a result of being deeply inspired by the Dalai Lama, with his unique blend of wisdom, compassion, humility and intelligence. His presence touches my soul. My dream partner would be someone who would love to learn and grow together, and have his soul touched in the process. I am definitely more interested in the heart of the teachings that any concepts or peripheral stuff.
I am a very practical, adaptable person, though I confess I could never adapt to living in town. Towns are great to visit, but I need to breathe fresh air and hear birdsong when I wake up in the morning.
My ideal match would enjoy the simple things in life. He would be intelligent, compassionate, vegetarian, and love nature and tranquility.
Ideally he would have an interest in eastern philosophy, and not be satisfied with a simplified explanation of everything being an illusion, or worse, a dream, but will have looked, or be interested in looking more deeply into the meaning of compassion and emptiness. It is very important to me that there is an interest in spiritual development, and an understanding of the importance of global compassion.
