I am new to Buddhism. I have been a practicing Christian for eighteen years, but am finding now that Buddhism has been helpful in my life. Although I do not attend a church anymore, that is still part of my beliefs. I prefer to see myself as duel religious. I think someone once said that two candles on a room make it brighter than just one.
Would like a moral person who is willing to take me as I am and accept me as I am, but most of all be my best mate. I value friendship and see it as the most important thing in any relationship, in fact in life as it is the only thing that is really sustainable.
My faith in the Buddha is weak because it is new, but I am looking for someone who I can learn from and regard with respect.
